EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Excavating group in action
Children are divided into groups of 4-5; each group gets a name, with a tablet at their disposal.
Different archaeological sites are shown on the screens, and each group chooses an excavation site.
The members of each group take on roles of archaeologists, workers, topographers, conservators, designers and are given their digital tools.
During the digital excavation, everyone will act according to their assigned role, and, gradually, different spaces will appear: dining room, religious areas, storerooms, workshops, etc. and will be reconstructed. Each group draws its conclusions and “publishes” them with a summary to the other groups.
The keys of the sanctuaries
Children are divided into groups of 4-5; each group is given a name, with a tablet at their disposal.
Each group is tasked with unlocking the sacred spaces by finding three objects related to the particular worship area.
The winning team will be the one that reaches the goal of unlocking the four gates of the sanctuaries first.
Children are asked to collect information on their devices related to 12 objects. They can be given as part of a story or as a puzzle. Following specific instructions, they are asked to connect a digital object, such as sound, text, or picture, with a physical object.
